FSOR has welcomed over 2000 students since 2004. We don’t expect all of them to go on to become professional or semi-professional musicians, and rock stars but some are doing quite well indeed! Some of our FSOR grads are performing and recording with:

Rock, Pop and Soul Music since 2004

FSOR

Inspired by the 2003 Jack Black film, School Of Rock, FSOR was set up, by Lewisham Teacher Felix Glenn, to give 9-16 year olds the opportunity to experience rehearsing and performing with a real band, doing a real gig with a pro musician/tutor guiding them along their way. We focus on guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, vocals but welcome all instruments. Student to staff ratio is typically 1:4.

FSOR MISSION STATEMENT

Felix’s School of Rock gives young people the opportunity to experience and perform music in a safe and supportive environment. The Rock School builds young people’s self-confidence and enhances their communication and teamwork skills.
