Why let the kids have ALL the fun when the grown-ups can rock out, too. The Grey Cats, SE6 Machine, Slinky Malinki, Xara, The Pinheads, No Sleep ’Til Deptford and several other active or recent bands have their rock roots in UNIofROCK. You may be next! Two weekends working with your band and pro staff and you're on stage the second Sunday playing to friends, family & fans. Details here. And if you have friends or family who may want to join us, please feel free to forward this newsletter. The more, the merrier!
Speaking of adults...Our choir is into its 69th series, has a gig next weekend and is singing Happy Together, California Dreaming, Hooked On A Feeling, Downtown, Anarchy In The UK, Tainted Love, Upside Down, Ever Fallen In Love With Someone, Don’t Stop Believing, and Ghost Riders In The Sky at the gig. The choir is performing at a Sing Out! event at the Amersham Arms on Saturday 10 November with 3-5 other choirs. Feel the winter blues coming on? Singing is the BEST medicine! Choir info is here.
If your kids are performing solo, in duos or with bands, There may be performance opportunities coming up near to Xmas. We are often asked to provide performers to Blackheath Village Day (01 Dec) and the Brockley Xmas Market (08 Dec) among other events. It’s even more likely to get a performance slot if you actually do some Xmas songs. If your interested, please contact Baz to get on the list.
