Inspired by the 2003 Jack Black film, School Of Rock, FSOR was set up, by Lewisham Teacher Felix Glenn, to give 9-16 year olds the opportunity to experience rehearsing and performing with a real band, doing a real gig with a pro musician/tutor guiding them along their way. We focus on guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, vocals but welcome all instruments. Student to staff ratio is typically 1:4.
Felix’s School of Rock gives young people the opportunity to experience and perform music in a safe and supportive environment. The Rock School builds young people’s self-confidence and enhances their communication and teamwork skills.
FSOR is a registered charity for children’s music. Our focus is on building musical confidence and self-esteem through experience and early success. We are a not-for-profit organisation Regd charity number 1127608
